Due to the Covid-19 situation inhibiting pickleball players from traveling to compete in other countries, the Thai Pickleball Association together with the Asian Federation of Pickleball (AFP) and Pickleball Global will be hosting the Asia Flex League-Siam Pickleball Tournament for any pickleball players to join who live in Thailand, November 13 – 15, 2020. Points earned from this tournament will count towards Pickleball Global rankings.
There will be 3 categories of play:
1. Singles on Friday beginning at 6pm
2. Men's and Women's Doubles on Saturday beginning at 8am
3. Mixed's Doubles on Sunday beginning at 1:30pm
Each event will be divided into Intermediate (3.9 and below) and Advanced (4.0 and above).
Each match will be one game to 15 points. Each team will be allowed one one-minute time-out per match.
*All finals matches will be 2 out of three to 11 points.
We’ll be using Onix outdoor balls for tournament play.
We will supply referees for all semi-final and final matches.
All players will be given 2 coupons for fruit, a cold cloth, and a pack of Energy Gel.
*Note the medal ceremony will be conducted at the end of play on Sunday for all tournament events at approximately 8pm.

My physical and mental condition was either verified by a medical doctor or at least proved during my previous sport activities, such as, but not limited to, playing various sports such as tennis, racquetball, squash, pickleball or any other aerobic sport). Herewith I confirm that I am aware of my full responsibility for all and any risks connected to any potential injury or damage that can happen to me while competing at this event. I explicitly confirm, that by my electronic signature I will not pursue any claim, damages, present and future rights of action which may be related to my participation in this event. I am also explicitly and specifically releasing and discharging myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and organizers of this event. Furthermore, I am also releasing the facility, its members, employees, sponsors and anyone who would be ever associated or connected to this event.
WAIVER/RELEASE FOR COMMUNICABLE DISEASES INCLUDING COVID-19
ASSUMPTION OF RISK / WAIVER OF LIABILITY / INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT
In consideration of being allowed to participate in this tournament, by completing my registration, I acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that:
1. Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to MRSA, influenza, and COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist; and,
2. I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and,
3. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation as regards protection against infectious diseases. If, however, I observe any unusual or significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and,
4. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SS Pickleball llc their officers, officials, agents, and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event ("RELEASEES"), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL ILLNESS, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
